Association Management Magazine
Provides a communication channel for the Association Sector. (Click name)

Association Management Magazine

Association Management International Magazine

Association Management International provides a communication channel for Association Heads throughout the UK, Europe and further afield to advance the profession of Association Management.

We aim to achieve this through a full range of media including print and electronic publishing, web search, online, exhibitions, conferences, affinity group schemes and familiarisation group sponsorship.

A quarterly magazine is available on a complimentary requested basis to those responsible for Association management and can be delivered in either a print or electronic format. With content reflecting the key responsibilities of these influencers and covering areas of interest such as management issues, membership retention and development, communication, technology, destinations and events the quarterly magazine is a unique and essential read.

It also creates a highly targeted route for those whose desire is to reach the association sector with their products and services. By positioning marketing messages in a strong and engaging contextual environment it is possible to engage with potential clients at a time of heightened interest thus ensuring profitable communication.

Within Association Management it is easy to concentrate solely on the sphere of interest of the association we work for. It is, however, essential to stay informed about new ideas, policies and technologies to be effective in this continually evolving sphere. Requesting a regular complimentary copy of the publication will help anyone involved in leadership in nfp organisations to stay abreast of current issues.

We welcome input from our readership or those who have an expertise in or understanding of an area of interest to our readers and are open to exploring potential collaborations with contributors who feel they have a valuable insight into this field of association management. Whatever your personal interest in Association Management we look forward to engaging with you in the way that best reflects your own involvement.

International Confex 2012 - 6 – 8 March at ExCel London

International Confex is the UK’s largest events exhibition and has grown rapidly in its 29 years.

The show recently announced that it will be moving from its original home of Earls Court to ExCel London in 2012.

It is the place to be to do business with all aspects of the events industry out in force, featuring a wide range of suppliers from destination management companies, unique venues, theming companies, exhibition venues, florists and caterers.

This year the show will be split into three main areas, Location, Logistics and Something Special.

The Something Special area is set to grow in 2012 as International Confex bought the RSVP show earlier this year, showcasing even more specialist exhibitors within the corporate party market.

Other features at the 2012 show include its all new Loyalty Programme, which allows visitors that organise meetings at International Confex to qualify for exclusive offers such as free travel and accommodation to a private audience with a high profile guest speaker.

The Best of British of Theatre is another new feature and has been created in association with Britain for Events, a campaign that was produced to increase international awareness of the UK as a key business events destination. At the show the Best of British Theatre will showcase the best of UK organised events.

There are also dedicated Association, Student and PA Day’s as well as an extensive free to attend education programme in the Confex Knowledge area, with key note speakers such as perfumier Jo Malone and Parag Khanna, former foreign policy advisor to President Barack Obama.
